i shifted to tumblr!
my imagination loses sorely to reality
dear brain of mine,
stop daydreaming!
this time i’m not going to fall into any more traps
and my complacency scares me.
well, that was random.
i like randomness haha.
its the random things in life that makes each day that much more fun.
like random suppers!
if only every weekend was like this
amazing weekend.
overnight mahjongs, crazy pool slides, damn shiok jacuzzis, great food, comfy beds, amazing company, the big bright sun and no civilisation in sight.
make love, not war
make friends, not enemies.
i’ll try to remember that this year.
life in limbo
i didn’t forget about blogging. but this hols, i barely touched my laptop except for work.
scamp was the most wonderful adventure ever. many times i tried to put down the entire experience in words, but its really hard to describe. glitches aplenty, but we survived and performed many miracles. i think i make a lousy director, but if anything, i’m just glad that my scamp babes had an enjoyable experience.

i was dreading sow really, but knowing how important seniors are to a camp really made me strive to be a better senior for lola. nevermind if the rest of my seniors cmi, i wanted my lola babies to have the sow experience that i didn’t had. and i really hoped they did!

this year i made up my mind to help costumes. partly because i didn’t like how people were always saying costumes were boring last year, partly cause of melody. and helping out in costumes was indeed one of the most enjoyable things i did this summer. learnt how to use a sewing machine, learnt how to hand-sew. the company was great, and i even got to help out with makeup. really really fun. rag is something i know i will keep doing, even after i graduate.

but right now. i’m glad fop is over. its been a tiring, albeit crazy, 3 months. and with only 2 days left before school started, i wanted to do something personal and holiday-ish. so on national day, i drag myself out of bed even thou rag had only just finished the day before. and i went to my aunt’s place for a popiah gathering, i haven’t met my relatives in months! then went to play badminton, and then i went prawning. we caught only 7 prawns, but the nice man at the prawning area gave us another 8 prawns so we could go to a zhichar stall to get our prawns cooked. and attended van’s 21st party afterwards.
it just felt really nice that this one day of my entire 3 months break didn’t belong to science. (: weird but yeah.

when life hands u lemons, make lemonade
right now i would like to relax at the beach, lying on the sand while eating a ham-n-nutella sandwich and drinking snapple’s pink lemonade. kiwi strawberry would be perfect too (:
-
alternatively, sleeping would do the same trick.
murphy’s law
to sum it up, anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
very true indeed.

playtime’s over.
i should borrow the “learn to say no” book from veron.
farewell dinner part 1/10
i went out with the hooker i met at geylang, we found a bisexual drunkard sleeping by the roadside and picked up a gay waiter at the bar.
very very fun day (:

there’s this japanese restaurant tucked inside far east plaza, wasabi-teh. its not easy to find, but the food is OMFG fabulous. easily the best japanese restaurant i’ve been to so far. the shop only seats 12 (!!) so the queue is always long, but today we were lucky so we didn’t had to wait over an hour.
anyway here’s the funny part. the shop has the worst service ever. with only the chef and his wife(?) helper, they are severely understaffed and deal with a huge queue everyday. they slam ur food down on the table and if u take too long to order ur food they charge u an extra 20% LMAO. but anyway if u take their service with a pinch of salt and just sit down and enjoy ur meal, u’ll find urself definitely coming back here again.
this poor customer dropped wasabi on the table and the folks just glared at him unabashedly throughout his entire meal. HAHAHA. really poor thing. and when they throw ur dessert on the table u just know they want u to leave quickly. despite their horrible service, i didn’t feel the least bit offended. it was fun observing just how rude they could be really hahaha. and the chef and his helper never ever talked to each other. i guess having been doing the same thing everyday for so many years now, they are way too used to their own duties and never have to consult one another.
really really cool shop (:

and then we went for drinks, and because edwin had no sense of direction and was convinced it would only take us 15 mins to reach paradiz centre, we walked all the way to this pub opposite paradiz centre. it took us nearly an hour, but nevermind, the walk there was really really great.

drinking on a weekday is always bad.
i hope i can wake up tmr.
